Welcome to this blog. Today I am going to Agra. Today's journey I'll have my wife with me. If you want to come here and want to roam here. So read this blog Because in this blog I almost talked about all the beautiful and famous places. This blog helps you if you are visiting Agra. Whenever you come here. So Let's start today's blog.

Taj Mahal:

Today we have reached the Taj Mahal. We booked tickets online. We are near the Taj Mahal so let's go inside in a little while. It is almost at a distance from them, so now it is visible here as well. All the local and foreign people had gathered here in a line after a while we entered inside. I met a native person there and he guided us about this place.

There are three gates here. As soon as we enter. We will see a very large door in front of us known as a great gate. It is made of red sandstone. Its design is similar to Jama Masjid Delhi and Badshahi Masjid Lahore because they were made in the same way.

On the sides of the gate, you will see Quranic verses are written. Now we are going to enter the inside of this memorable place. There is a lot more right here as going Right in front of us was a very beautiful view of the Taj Mahal.

When we first see the Taj Mahal. It is a very beautiful sight. I see many people who are taking pictures and videos. It is very hard to find a place to take a perfect picture. Here everyone wants to have a picture with the Taj Mahal, So we are moving further let's see and take a nice memorable photo with the Taj Mahal. By the way, there's a lot more to look at monuments and there are buildings.

People from all over the world come to see the Taj Mahal. The most important of which is also said that it was built by the 5th Mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his wife. When his wife Mumtaz Mahal's 14 children were born she later died. In 1631 After a full year, they started building.

This work was completed around 1648 but some places, the mosque, and other places, continued for about 5 years until Construction was completed and when it was made, if you guessed it in today's time a billion dollars had been spent. Many buildings are built with red stone. There are some buildings in the Mughal era that were built with white marble.

Four sides have towers and in the middle of it was a big dome and its height was around 70 meters. Prayers are still held at the mosque next to this place and it is held only on Fridays. The entire area is closed on Friday for prayer only native people can visit here.

When we got to know his history we found out that 20,000 laborers participated in the construction of the Taj Mahal. On our right side is the mosque which is open only on Fridays. So we could not go there today. But we can definitely go to the Taj Mahal. We put plastic covers on our shoes because they don't let go without them.

The height is 40 meters due to the roof visible from the front. The roof appears to be flat, but it is not flat, it is carved out of marble, and on its sides, the rope-like design is made of marble. Inside the tomb, you will see both the graves of Mumtaz Mahal and Shah Jahan.

Now we are going inside but taking pictures and videos inside is strictly prohibited, So no one can take pictures and videos inside. Right next to the palace is a river named Yumna. I see boats moving here. If you come in the morning you may see less crowded places.

I can't do it the next day anyway because Friday this place is closed. It's your choice that you can come in the morning. After walking around. We started feeling very hungry then We went to a nearby restaurant to eat something. My wife ordered desi food here. The food is very tasty because it is special here.

Agra Fort:

We are going to Agra Fort today which is also known as red fort. So today we will go around here with the help of a tourist guide. The tourist guides us with all the details and we will tell you about the monument, So now we are entering Agra Fort. Me and my wife took the ticket first and walked forward and here I saw some people with me.

Our tourist guide is also here. Let's go ahead with them. He said that the name of this place is Agra Fort. Those who call it red fort are wrong because Red Fort is present in Delhi which was built by Shah Jahan in a period of 8 years. The Mughal Emperor Akbar started building this in 1565.

Its construction was completed in 1573. The floor of this fort is very strong stone. It is because In ancient times Mughals rode on Camels, Horses, and Elephants, So for this reason they have made this strong stone path here.

This floor sounds like under the feet of horses nowadays there is an iron umbilical when the horse walks the same sound is heard here too our guide gave an example by clapping it was really the same sound coming from here.

It had another advantage when an army came to attack so its sound used to come from far away due to which palace.

Akbar reserved 75 percent for his army and 25 percent for the magnificent palace. Today 25 percent area is for Tourists they roam around but 75 percent is now under the Indian army. We saw a bathtub here. Our guide told us his name is Jahangir Bathtub. When Jangir was born, his uncle gave him this as a gift.

The beauty of this tub is its six stairs. When he was a kid, his employee bathed him. It used to be inside the palace but now they have put it outside. When it was inside, it sank into the ground.

Next, we are going to see Jahangir's sleeping place and his bedroom. From here the first entry for tourists begins. inside we found holes in the ground which was also a design and the purpose of rainwater had to give way.

In ancient times there were crocodiles inside. who guarded the palace from below here. an open room was visible. It was called the Jehangiri Bedroom. No doors were visible here.

The area is wide here many tourists are walking and taking pictures we also found out that the name of this palace is also called Rang Mahal. Akbar's son Salim when grew up, So Akbar gifted him a palace named Hawa Mahal.

It was an AC room without AC. Our tour guide also showed us this place. We got to see a lot in this place but the place was really cool too. It was very dark inside but these rooms are cool. When we came outside our guide told us that this place is made of mud to keep it cool.

This is what most women apply on their face which is also known as Multani clay. Because Multani clay makes rooms always cool. It was built by four Mughal generations.

Akbar started building first followed by Jahangir followed by Shah Jahan followed by Aurangzeb It took about 95 years to complete. It took us a lot of time to roam around this place, even though it is only 25 percent.

We enjoy this place and also know all the history of it. We have seen all the royal things there. This one is a superior example from the Mughal era after wandering around our tour guide did his job perfectly, So we also went out too for dinner.

Buland Darwaza:

Now we are going to Buland Darwaza also known as Door of Victory which is close to Agra city about 40 kilometers away. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar and took about 14 years. This place is a heritage site in the world by UNESCO. This Door is made up of red sandstone from Mughal emperor Akbar in 1575 made in celebration of victory over Gujarat.

The people mostly entered through a door of the victory gate. My wife and I also entered through the same door. When we were entering from we saw this gate is built with red sandstone and topped with marble Designing.

The height of this door is 54 meters. It has about 42 stairs and also has an arch which presents a very good scene and it has decorative panels on the edges. Fatehpur Sikri is an example of Mughal artifacts.

There is a large space where people were seen taking pictures at this place also with this tall gate, so I and my wife also took some pictures here and left towards our hotel.

Tomb of Akbar the Great:

Today we are at Akbar's Tomb. This tomb of Akbar was built in 1605 and was completed in 1613 it took 8 years. Its special thing is that this place was decided by Mughal Emperor Akbar before his death, So we will come inside the tomb and show you, so we have already taken the entry ticket and today we will give you all the information about this place.

So as soon as we entered,  On the right side, a building was made in the time of Akbar Lodhi who came there before Akbar. He came to the 1503 village and gave it the name Sikandra.

After the death of Sikandar Lodhi, his tomb was also built here, but later Shifted to Delhi's Lodhi Garden. The tomb was built by Akbar's son Jahangir.

Akbar decided on this place because he wanted his entire family buried in one place but it could not happen that wherever people died, their graves were being built in this place. There are also many historical things to see.

Many tourists visit this place every year to see this tomb. If you are coming to Agra then you must visit here. After the visit, we left for our hotel.
